  • provide accounting records and financial information
  • communicate with us by email, phone, or other means

We may also receive personal information indirectly from:

  • HMRC (where we are authorised to act as your agent)
  • your accountant or other professional advisers
  • banks, payment providers, or software platforms (such as Xero), where access has been authorised by you

  • provide bookkeeping and related professional services

  • prepare VAT returns and Making Tax Digital submissions
  • meet legal, regulatory, and professional obligations
  • carry out identity verification and anti-money laundering checks
  • communicate with you regarding our services

  • HMRC
  • our professional body and supervisor, the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB)
  • software providers used in delivering our services (e.g. accounting platforms)
  • our professional indemnity insurers

We securely delete or destroy personal data once it is no longer required, unless we are legally required to retain it for longer.
